我們擁有專業的團隊;成員包括富有愛心且經驗豐富的醫生、職業治療師和特殊教師、輔導員與音樂、藝術與運動專科導師,他們擁有臨床實踐和教學經驗,我們一起合作,為服務對象提供全面的復康和教育服務。
我們的宗旨
我們的多元專業團隊希望與有特殊需要的人士包括兒童,成人及其家人一起同行。我們的目標是在藝術、音樂、體育和遊戲的領域上,發掘每一位孩子潛藏着的能力與不同的興趣,以幫助全人的發展。
我們會先為每一位服務對象進行評估,以了解能力的強項和弱項,然後建議適合他/她年齡的、有趣味和系統的教育計劃。這些計劃包含不同的治療和學習方案。
我們也為本地或海外的教師或相關的專業團體提供在職培訓,希望幫助他們在教育有特殊需要的人士時,使用有效和愉快學習的方式,以促進整體的發展。
中心提供的服務:
- 服務對象:在日常生活技能、學習、運動或行為方面有不同困難的兒童/青少年。
- 年 齡:0-3歲、4-6歲、7-12歲及以上
- 形 式:個別輔導、小組(最多 3 名學生)
(參與小組前會安排簡單的評估,並向家長提供意見以選擇適合的小組)
服務類別:
- 醫療諮詢
- 我們擁有家庭醫學和兒科專家,以全人關顧的態度,治療及跟進兒童如:一般疾病、睡眠、飲食、濕疹、癲癇、哮喘及各類敏感症。
- 我們亦為懷疑有發展障礙的兒童作初步的評估,並轉介政府相關機構作進一步跟進。我們希望能夠提供及時介入的治療和教育服務。

- 感覺統合治療
- 透過職業治療師的評估,為患有感覺處理障礙和相關功能障礙的兒童,設計和制定適切的感官刺激活動。
- 會根據兒童在家裡和學校的日程安排, 設計適合的感統活動和感知餐單,幫助提升兒童的專注和身體協調能力。
- 幫助提高兒童的整體口腔肌肉力量和協調性,促進吞嚥、進食的能力。
- 特殊教育
- 會先為兒童進行能力上的評估,然後制定個別化的教育計劃。
- 通過不同的教學策略(例如:結構化教學法、ABA、社交故事等等)和設計趣味的教學活動,來提高他們在智能、社交、溝通、適應行為和學習技能等方面的能力。

- 運動訓練
- 我們的體育老師會根據每個兒童的體能特性,制定有系統的、循序漸進的運動訓練。

Service Provided :
From 0-3yr, 4-6yr, 7-12yr and or above with difficulties and challenges in their daily living, study , motor coordination and behaviour.
Setting:
1 : 1 or in small group (max 3 children).
Before joining a group, each individual will be firstly screened by our professionals to recommend which group they should attend.

Types of Services:
- Medical Consultation
Uses a wholistic approach that sees the child as a unique individual who may be challenged in different ways.
As such it provides assessment of physical issues such as sleeping issues, dietary issues, associated acute and chronic illnesses like asthma and epilepsy that may affect overall management.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the medical team may become involved if there are issues identified at intake, and so the coverage may extend to developmental screening and referrals that requires further assessment and management by the medical system.
As a family friendly service, we have family medicine and paediatric specialists that are available by appointment, which is a feature that was designed to be integrated with the Timely Therapy and Education Service.

- Occupational Therapy Program
Sensory Integration Therapy is through evaluation by an occupational therapist, who carefully designs and tailors sensory stimulating activities to treat children with sensory processing disorder and related dysfunctions.
It is based on Dr Jean Ayres Sensory Integration Theory which proposes that sensory processing is linked to emotional regulation, learning, behaviour and performing daily living activities.
Sensory integration promotes a more organized mindset & more efficient processing of sensations, with improved coordination of movement.
Sensory diets and activities are designed and recommended to fit your child’s needs and schedule at home and at school.
Activities for enhancing children’s general oral muscle strength and coordination to facilitate swallowing, eating and talking are provided.
- Special Education Program
We aim to set individualized education programs for each child with behavioural issues and learning difficulties.
This is done through designed and fun learning programs and instructional techniques (e.g. TEACCH, ABA, Social stories etc) which are implemented to improve children’s cognitive skill, social skill, communication and good adaptive behaviour.
Tutoring class is provided to improve word formation and recognition, reading, comprehension, writing and composition.
Program which tailor for preparing children to transfer into kindergarten or primary school system is offered.

- Art Program
Our dedicated art teachers design and teach age appropriate, fun art activities:
-to promote visual perception, eye hand coordination and finger movements for learning through teaching creative and expressive art skills and handling various artistic material techniques
-to open up inner self expression and to release hidden thoughts and stress for regulating emotions. Joyful and positive thinking is experienced which promote good self-satisfaction and image.
-to explore hidden artistic potential /talent
- Music Program
Our music teachers design a fun and enjoyable music program:
-to improve listening accuracy and attention
-to help the learners to express internal emotions through music
-to improve social interaction with others
-to improve body coordination through playing musical drums and other musical instruments

- Sport Program
Our Sport teachers set up planned and progressive sequencing of motor activities according to each child’s physical ability:
-to improve their balance, muscle strength and control,
-to improve their body coordination and postural control for learning.
-to enhance children’s ability to engage basic sport skills at school
-to develop team spirit in sport
-to develop self confidence among their peers
- Play & Counselling Program
Involves interaction with a counsellor through symbolic play to build up a trusting relationship with the child / adult:
-to discover and express internal thoughts, needs and hidden emotional blocks
-to build up a healthy and positive self- image
-to promote growth in self and releasing challenging stress at school and other settings.
